The fire rushed to use a breathing apparatus team and a hose to fight the blaze, and it took about an hour to put out the fire.

According to sources, the male head of the fire unit burned his hands and feet; another 1 man and 1 woman were unwell after inhaling smoke.

At about 11 pm on the Mid-Autumn Festival on the 1st of this month, a unit in Yangjing Building also caught fire due to a short circuit of wires. The fire was fierce.

3 female and 1 male residents were unwell after inhaling heavy smoke. An elderly woman named Feng (73 years old) from the adjoining unit fell into a semi-coma when she was sent to the hospital. Her husband, surnamed Zhong and 39-year-old foreign domestic helper of the same age, were once trapped and rescued by the fire; A female resident named Zhang (69 years old) was sober when she was sent to the hospital.
