The Arab Cultural Center in Abu Rummaneh hosted a seminar entitled Syria, the Center for Global and Regional Transformations, with the participation of Drs Samir Abu Saleh and Acer Maidani via Skype.
Dr. Maidani presented a political panorama of the current situation in the region and the conflict between major countries based on economic ambitions, confirming the role of the Syrian-led resistance axis in repelling colonial projects and rejecting American and Western dictates.
Maidani talked extensively about the assassination policy adopted by the American administration, which targeted prominent figures in addition to targeting the resistance movements in the service of the Zionist occupation entity and to support its colonial project in the region.
As for Abu Saleh, he talked about the importance of Syria, the state, the people, history, and civilization at the regional level and its effects on the world level, pointing out that the colonial projects that began since the last century aimed to rewrite the history of the eastern Mediterranean according to data that have nothing to do with history and civilization.
