"At the moment, from a business perspective, it no longer

makes sense

to run

the

restaurants

," explains Managing Director Markus Bauer.

Because of corona requirements: Mahavi-Gastro closes almost all businesses in Fürstenfeldbruck

The guests are too

unsettled

by the general situation.

There are more corona-related

cancellations

than bookings.

The only solution is a temporary hibernation for the restaurants.

, the

Parkcafé,

the Gastro am

Pucher Meer

, the

Alte Druckerei

and the

Pavillon Beach

in Fürstenfeldbruck

will close

Despite corona-related closure: Mahavi boss promises a return

The company can get through this step economically, says Bauer.

“We did the math.

It

works for our company

with state bridging aid and

short-time working allowance

. ”In this way, you don't get into financial

difficulties

.

According to Bauer, around

200 employees

are affected by the temporary closure

.

Around half are

permanent employees

who are now on short-time work.

Bauer cannot yet say

how long the

hibernation will

last.

But man can hold out as long as necessary.

Bauer:

“We'll be back.

That's a promise."

For host Ludwig Dinzinger, the curfew at 9 p.m. is like a quasi lockdown for the restaurant and bar scene.

The Freising restaurateur is desperate.

And he's not the only one.

Angela Merkel wants to decide on a partial lockdown at the Prime Minister's Conference this Wednesday.

A renewed closure of all catering establishments is also up for debate.
