In a press release, Masters William Bourdon and Vincent Brengarth believe that “
both the grievances formulated - unrelated to the humanitarian activities of the association - and the procedure followed establish the brutal and discretionary nature of such a decision
”.
Recalling that "
extremely thorough judicial investigations had been carried out to lead to a classification without follow-up
", they consider that "
the public authority therefore seems to ignore this reality, to target the association again following a attack with which it has absolutely no link and which it strongly condemned
”.
They argue that the decision of the Council of Ministers "
leads the association, which theoretically no longer exists, to organize itself to urgently transfer its assets and the employment contracts of its 47 employees
".
The government measure "
insecures the 2 million people around the world who benefit from aid from the humanitarian association, in addition to causing a stir within the Muslim community in France and internationally,
" added the two lawyers.
