During an audience, Pope Francis assured that he does not come down to greet his followers because the recommendations made by "the lady called Covid" must be followed.
"I would like to go down and greet them, but we must keep our distance because if I go down immediately people will crowd together and that goes against precautionary measures," said the Pope.
Francisco has refused to wear a mask even though it is mandatory in Italy.
