In the context of improving the aesthetic and environmental reality of the gardens, the Damascus governorate rehabilitated Al-Huda Square Park in Mezzeh Jabal.
According to the director of parks in the governorate, Eng. Mahmoud Mortada, in a statement to SANA’s delegate today, the rehabilitation work included planting shrubs, pruning existing trees, extending modern irrigation networks, maintaining seats and children's games inside them, and maintaining the sidewalk surrounding the garden.
Mortada explained that rehabilitating the park comes within the governorate’s plan to increase the amount of green spaces that contribute to the aesthetic appearance of the city and represent an outlet for citizens.
