At about 6 am, a traffic accident occurred on the lower section of Mawei on Sha Tau Kok Highway.

A private car reportedly got out of control when it reached the Liushuixiang roundabout. A driver and a passenger in the car were trapped. The other drivers reported the case on their behalf.

Fire and ambulancemen rushed to the scene after receiving the report and found that the two people in the car were semi-conscious.

It is known that the two were seriously injured. After stabilizing their injuries, the ambulance immediately mobilized two ambulances to rush them to the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin.

The police are investigating the cause of the car accident.
