A 27-year-old young woman was found dead by strangulation Thursday, October 29 in an apartment in Angers, said a source close to the investigation.

According to the first elements, the victim would have been strangled by her spouse who was arrested and placed in police custody.
The couple's two children, aged 4 and 8, were in the apartment at the time of the tragedy.
An investigation has been opened for homicide.
Asked, the Angers prosecutor's office was not reachable Thursday evening.
