Netanyahu: If the morbidity rises in a certain city and it turns red, we will impose a closure on it
The prime minister made a statement to the media on the corona issue, saying he would close any city with widespread infection, and that "this will be done only on the basis of morbidity data and not any other consideration."
Netanyahu added that the plague "is not really behind us, our situation has improved - but it is very fragile"

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said tonight (Thursday) that if there is an increase in coronary heart disease in a certain city and it turns red, a closure will be imposed on it.
"I will not hesitate to tell the Corona Cabinet to close it," he said in a statement to the media.
"It doesn't matter where it is, and whether it is a Jewish, Arab or ultra-Orthodox city."
According to him, Corona commissioner Prof. Roni Gamzo is working on "a clear definition of the point at which a closure is imposed on cities."
He stressed that "this will only be done on the basis of morbidity data - and not any other consideration."
Netanyahu praised Israel's response to the second wave of the epidemic, but warned: "The corona is not really behind us, our situation has improved - but it is very fragile."

Netanyahu's statement comes after approval of the curriculum in the Corona Cabinet earlier today.
According to the Curriculum of the Ministry of Education approved by the Cabinet, grades 1-4 will return to school on Sunday, four days a week.
Classrooms will be split so that the number of students does not exceed 20 per class, except for exceptions that will allow up to 10% of classrooms to study in groups of up to 24 students, giving priority to institutions located in areas with low morbidity rates.
