Two people died and two others were injured after being hit by a car in the Tre Re hamlet of Cava Manara (Pavia), near Pavia, while they were stopped at a shelter waiting for the bus.
The incident, which is being investigated by the police, took place this morning shortly after 9.
The car, according to the first reports, would have skidded overwhelming the group that was waiting for the bus. The impact was very violent. Three ambulances, an automedica and the 118 helicopter rescue service intervened on the spot. The generality of those involved is still unknown. For two of them there was nothing to do. The two wounded were transported to the Policlinico San Matteo in Pavia.
