Reconfinement: sadness and concern for the world of cinema

2020-10-29T10:17:59.540Z

The cinemas are closed from Friday October 30th until December 1st. A new financial disaster for operators, distributors, theater managers, who slowly raised their heads from the first confinement.

Less than five months after a complicated reopening, cinemas are once again called upon to close.

An economic disaster for the profession, already penalized by the postponements of many films and the reluctance of the public to return to theaters.

Ironically, this new closure, which is expected to last at least until December 1, comes after a week of 3.2 million admissions, a record since June 22.

A great impetus, driven by the release of several French productions (
