A recent study revealed that the antibodies to the Corona virus in some recovered patients ignore the epidemic and attack the body instead.
The American New York Times reported that researchers from Emory University in Atlanta examined 52 patients who had severe or critical attacks from the Corona virus, and none of them had autoimmune disorders, but they produced particles called "autoantibodies" that attack the genetic material from cells instead of the virus.
The results raised scientists' concern that the wrong immune response could make Corona symptoms worse and could explain the science behind the long-term mysterious cases that constantly appear around the world.
The newspaper pointed out that those patients who produce antibodies, such as what happens with lupus or rheumatoid arthritis, may respond better to drugs that treat these disorders, and although there is no cure for lupus or rheumatoid arthritis, there are treatments that reduce the frequency and severity of attacks. .
