The outlook for the coming days at a glance.
The weather * in Germany is changing at the moment
After the ex-hurricane * Epsilon came a rain front.
At the weekend, however, temperatures should rise again, on Monday 23 degrees are sometimes expected.
This ticker is updated continuously.
Update from October 29th, 3:00 p.m.:
Autumn is still changeable.
After a few sunny days and the current
rain front
, it will almost be summer again next week.
Thanks to the
Warmfront Marola
,
temperatures
of over 20 degrees are
apparently
waiting for us
at the weekend
.
This is
what the qualified
meteorologist Dominik Jung
from the “Q.met” weather service reports to the
picture
.
“A real heat mountain is coming to Germany!
The ex-hurricane is now through and behind it it pulls the heat up to us in its "exhaust jet"!
A fat bubble of warmth is coming to Germany. "
Weather in Germany: The warm front will move into the country from Friday
The remnants of
Hurricane Epsilon
would still make themselves felt today in the form of showers and thunderstorms over Germany, but it was already drier in the west.
From Friday we would then come into a
warm front
that moves into the country from the west - but due to the time of year it can still come to clouds and rain.
At the weekend the temperatures are 13 to 16 degrees on Friday and 14 to 18 degrees on Saturday.
On Sundays, the weather could change between sun, clouds and rain at temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees, before we can expect summery 20, sometimes even 23 degrees on Monday.
In the course of the next week the weather should cool down a bit.
Winter weather in Germany?
After the hurricane, a new cold front rolls in
First report from October 28, 12:53 p.m .:
Munich - The sunny autumn weather is passé.
The temperatures went downhill last week and bad weather was the order of the day.
The fault was
ex-hurricane Epsilon
,
which brought a lot of rain and
cool sea air
to Germany.
Shortly before Europe
, the
hurricane developed into a hurricane
low
* that rushed across the British Isles into the Federal Republic.
Epsilon
brought gusts of up to 200 kilometers per hour and heavy rainfall with it, but has meanwhile moved back to the northeast.
After the ex-hurricane,
however, the next weather front is
rolling towards
Germany
, as wetter-com meteorologist Gernot Schütz explains: "After Epsilon a new rain front is coming soon."
On Wednesday, the weather in the country is pretty calm.
With the exception of a few warnings of squalls * in the north and south-west, no warnings are noted on the map of the German Weather Service.
In
Breisgau,
for example, winds of 75 to 85 kilometers per hour must be expected.
Weather in Germany: rain front ensures temperatures below 20 degrees mark
Otherwise,
Germany is
characterized by mild temperatures of eleven degrees in
Regensburg
to 16 degrees in
Cologne
- and occasional
rain
.
The showers in the country largely disappeared in the course of the afternoon.
Only in the north could showers or local thunderstorms occur.
According to current forecasts, a similar picture can be observed on Thursday.
A rain front with an additional easterly wind ensures that the temperatures do not exceed the 20-degree mark.
In the following days up to the weekend, the
weather conditions
remain
uncomfortable.
With maximum values of up to 17 degrees including accompanying wind, there can be no question of warm autumn days.
After all,
Germany is
still a long way from the onset of winter.
Weather in Germany: "Onset of winter in November quite unlikely"
When it will first
snow
in the
Federal Republic
is unclear.
We will probably not experience a white Christmas this year either.
Before that, it should be a little warmer, because “November could be dominated by high pressure in large parts of Europe”, as
meteorologist Dominik Jung
recently predicted.
The result is fog and very little precipitation.
"Thus, the onset of winter in November [...] is quite unlikely."
For the near future this means: first rain then fog or in short: autumn.
