Bruce Springsteen calls on Americans to vote against Donald Trump.
On his Twitter account, the singer, whose
new album A Letter to You
was released on October 23, shared a video in the form of a manifesto against the President of the United States.
The text he declaims is actually a poem by Elayne Griffin Baker, which he had already read on the air on Sirius XFM, an American radio station.
Its reading was embellished with a few guitar chords.

This text paints a vitriolic portrait of Donald Trump, presented as devoid of humanity.
“
There is no art in this White House.
There is no literature, poetry or music.
There are no pets in this White House,
regrets the poet.
There is no moment when the president takes off his uniform - his blue suit and his red tie - and becomes human
”.
Bruce Springsteen is nostalgic for the presidency of Barack Obama.
“
We had a president who calmed and appeased the country instead of dividing it.
We had a first lady who cultivated a garden instead of undoing one,
”he recalls.
Conversely, today, “
there are no pictures of the president and his family having a good time together.
No times like the Obamas spent on a beach in Hawaii.
"
“
Where has this country gone?
"
As a snub to the campaign slogan of Donald Trump in 2016, "
Make America Great Again" -
"
Make his greatness to America
" - the boss believes that "
we have lost the cultural aspects of our society that make the America so great
”.
Today, the one who sang to be
Born in the USA
struggles to recognize his country.
“
Where has this country gone?
Where has the fun, the joy, the love and the happiness gone?
(...) We are lost.
We have lost so much in such a short time.
On November 3, send them away.

Although his findings are very grim, Bruce Springsteen is optimistic about the outcome of the November 3 election.
"
Trump will not win
," he said in an interview with
La Reppublica
.
And if by chance the facts prove him wrong, the singer has a well-established flight plan.
In an interview with the
Australian
Daily Telegraph
on October 15, he announced: “
If Trump is re-elected - which will not happen;
I already predict that he will lose - I will board the first plane for Australia.
