Mo Weiting has lived in Hong Kong for 15 years

Before joining Hong Kong Disneyland, Mok worked for Hasbro, and was promoted to General Manager and Senior Vice President of Global Procurement for Hasbro Far East Ltd. The company’s office is located in Hong Kong; he worked at The Walt Disney Company for 14 years during which Walt Disney World Resort, Walt Disney Fantasy Project and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort hold different management positions.

Mo was the chief financial officer of Hong Kong Disneyland from 2009 to 2012. He was responsible for the overall financial management, financial control, corporate alliances, technology and digital strategies of the resort. During the expansion project, the park increased by about a quarter, including new Added multiple theme areas, amusement facilities and entertainment experiences.

In addition, Mok Weiting graduated from Lehigh University with a bachelor's degree in financial management and a master's degree in business administration. He and his family have lived in Hong Kong for nearly 15 years.

When announcing the appointment, Jill Estorino, International President and Managing Director of Disneyland said that this appointment coincides with Hong Kong Disney’s 15th anniversary. Mok has extensive experience in financial management, business strategy and operations. Coupled with the knowledge of the Hong Kong market and the network in Asia, the resorts will play a positive role in promoting the recovery of Hong Kong's tourism industry.

Ai Shulin thanked Yang Shanni for her outstanding contribution to the Paradise Resort, saying that under her leadership, Disney launched a new ride "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Strike Fight!" and continued to build the resort into Disney's unique Marvel base , "Will unveil the Wonderful Dream Castle" to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the resort, which means that the castle will be unveiled before Yang Shanni leaves office.

In addition, the park said that although the "Fantastic Dream Castle" is still in the final stage of renovation, most of the metal scaffolding on the back of the building has been removed, the exterior wall has been painted in color, and the details of the theme tower have been completed.

At present, only the "Frozen" theme tower and the "Fairy Tale Art Square" clock tower are still being decorated. It is expected that the new president will appear together before and after taking office.
