Two weeks ago, Inge Jooss, integration officer of the city council, called on the helpers group to replenish the household goods warehouse for refugees and people in need in Miesbach.
Now the call is stopped.

- The reason is the situation in the old monastery, where the goods are stored.
As reported, the building is to be converted into a children's home.
For this, it is necessary as part of the preliminary investigations to examine the soil with a view to the statics.
This work is now pending and has surprised the group of helpers.
As Jooß reports, the helpers can still give out goods to those in need, but due to lack of space, nothing new is accepted.
The acceptance freeze applies until the move over to the Bavarian Red Cross on Wendelsteinstrasse in the new year.
Difficult renovation expected
The appeal as such was received positively.
According to Jooß, a lot of donations were made for which the Miesbacher Helferkreis would like to thank them.
As reported, the old monastery is being converted into a children's home.
The planning for this was recently presented to the city council.
From a structural point of view, however, the project is quite difficult, because the renovation costs of the central building can only be precisely determined once the building fabric has been examined more closely.
The soil examinations are also necessary for this.
