The Ministry of Education launched a competition entitled "My Sweetest School" for students and teachers in schools, to highlight the educational aspects that are distinctive for them and to show the positive impressions that the school leaves on them during school hours.
According to a statement by the ministry, SANA received a copy of it. The competition, in which the participants will be displayed on a Facebook page dedicated to this, aims to enhance the role of teachers and students in highlighting their abilities in learning and education, developing their aesthetic taste and accustoming them to a positive view of life as part of the national learning standards.
The Ministry called on teachers and students who wish to participate to send pictures and videos of their daily lives in their schools with the name of the sender, the name of his school, and the area in which it is located to be displayed on the Facebook page bearing the name “Sweet my school.” Participations will continue to be accepted until April 15th, provided that Pictures shall be sent to the e-mail designated for the contest.
The ministry stated that prizes will be given to the best twenty male and female students and the best twenty teachers whose participation achieved the highest liked rate on the aforementioned page, provided that they will be honored in a special ceremony before the end-of-year exams.
On the 11th of October, the Ministry of Education announced the names of students and teachers who won the "Sweet Oh My Country" competition, which was organized by the National Center for Educational Curriculum Development last March.
