The Trump phenomenon is a product of globalization, at least the form that has prevailed over the past decades.
Globalization is the interconnection in all areas of activity (political, cultural, economic, legal, personal and others);
it is related to the information and communication technology revolution.
It is often equated with the global market and pro-market policies, especially the free movement of goods and capital (but not of workers).
