"Latinos for Trump" rally in Miami: 2.5 million Latinos have registered as voters in Florida

When Donald Trump takes the stage in distant Nashville, cheers break out in a chic hotel bar at Miami Airport.

"Four more years," they shout towards the screens showing the second and final debate between the President and his challenger Joe Biden.

Several Latino groups who support Trump had invited to the "watch party".

To the right of one of the television sets, two flagpoles are set up at a distance of two meters;

attached to it: the US flag and Venezuela.

The advertising wall behind it bears the logo of the "Venezuelan American Republican Alliance".

After the US president's election victory four years ago, there was much talk about the popularity he found among white workers.

A prototype of the Trump voter burned into the consciousness of many: white and mostly male, without a college degree, affected by the death of industry and left behind in a globalized world.

The President's supporters, who met in Miami that evening, embody the exact opposite in several ways.

Multilingual and generally more highly educated, they move easily and often across borders, at least outside of times of global pandemic.

The summer dresses, jackets and shoes show success or at least prosperity.
