Palestine's permanent representative to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, affirmed that the Israeli occupation authorities continue their attacks on the Palestinian people, violate international law and undermine any opportunity to establish a Palestinian state with the full support and complicity of the United States.

Mansour said in a statement today reported by Wafa that the US support for settlement operations and colonial annexation plans is a direct violation of United Nations resolutions, including Security Council Resolution 2334 and all the resolutions that affirm the illegality of Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

Mansour stressed that the ultimate goal of the efforts of the international community and the Security Council's legislation is to end the Israeli occupation and establish the Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, which is undermined by "Israel" the occupying power on a daily basis due to its violations of international law and the rights of the Palestinian people, including the inalienable right to self-determination. .

Mansour called on the international community, the Security Council and the General Assembly of the United Nations to work to implement their legal obligations and responsibilities towards the Palestinian people and to implement the UN resolutions related to the Palestinian cause.
