More than ten million people in Europe have been infected with the new Corona virus since the start of its outbreak on the continent at the beginning of this year, according to a census conducted by "Agence France-Presse" agency today, according to official sources.
The European continent, which contains 52 countries, is the third most affected region in the world in terms of the number of injuries, behind Latin America and the Caribbean, "11.2 million injuries" and Asia "10.5 million".
With regard to the total number of deaths since the start of the outbreak, Europe is the second after recording about 275 thousand deaths, behind Latin America and the Caribbean, "about 399 thousand deaths."
And Europe is the region where the virus is currently spreading rapidly, as the percentage of new infected people increased by 41 percent within a week, and about half of the infections in the world were recorded in the past seven days.
