Munich - Due to the rapidly increasing Corona * numbers, the

federal and state governments

agreed on significantly stricter measures on Wednesday (October 28).

Chancellor Angela Merkel * announced - among other things, together with the Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder * - a limited

lockdown.

This applies from Monday (November 2nd) for the rest of the month - also in

Bavaria.

Contacts

: Only members of two households are allowed to meet in public, but no more than ten people.

Celebrations

in apartments and private facilities are described as "unacceptable".

Gastronomy:

Restaurants, bars, clubs, discos and pubs will be closed.

Delivery services and

take-away meals

are still

allowed, and canteens are also allowed to open.

Leisure:

Leisure facilities will be closed.

This includes theaters, operas, concert halls, trade fairs, cinemas, amusement parks, saunas, arcades, casinos, betting shops and brothels.

All

events

that serve entertainment are prohibited.

Sports:

Fitness studios, swimming pools and fun pools are closed, and amateur sports are also closed.

That means: clubs are no longer allowed to train.

Individual sports, such as jogging alone or in pairs, are still allowed.

Professional sports like the

Bundesliga

are only permitted without spectators.

Travel and hotels

: Private trips should be avoided, as well as day trips and visits to relatives - also domestically.

Hotels and guest houses are no

longer

allowed to accept

tourists

Services:

Cosmetic studios, massage practices and tattoo studios must close because the minimum distance cannot be maintained here.

Medically necessary treatments, for example by a physiotherapist, are still possible.

Hairdressers also remain open.

Together we can defy Corona again.

The restrictions are tough in the short term but milder in the long term.

If everyone participates, we in Germany can get through the winter well.

We are a community based on solidarity and not an ego country.
