Today, Homs firefighters extinguished a fire that affected olive trees and herbs in Tal Kalakh countryside.
Brigadier General Ghayath Aqil, Director of the Civil Defense Branch in Homs, told SANA's correspondent that the branch's operations room had received a report about a fire with weeds and olive trees in the agricultural lands of the villages of Shalouh, Al-Shuweid and Al-Hasrajeh in Tal Kalakh countryside, indicating that the firefighting cadres, in addition to the Homs fire brigade and the Directorate of Agriculture, the fire was isolated. And control it and suppress it.
Aqil indicated that control points equipped with firefighters had been distributed in the western countryside of Homs to deal with any fire as soon as it broke out.
