The former presidential candidate of the Federal Consensus Front, Roberto Lavagna, was willing to collaborate in the construction of political consensus, as requested days ago by Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner through a public letter.

"37 years after having recovered democracy and the exercise of popular sovereignty,

the Argentine people deserve that we build the future with dialogues for consensus

," Lavagna said, today commemorating a new anniversary of the electoral triumph of the late former president Raúl Alfonsín . 

The former Minister of Economy of the Kirchner governments manifested himself through a series of messages that he spread on his Twitter account.

"Politics well understood and generous with the citizen

does not recognize a better way than dialogue as a constructive factor

for a better future," he insisted.

He considered that "this exercise allows to propose, agree or disagree within the margins of respect and having the objective of the common good."

Without referring to the letter released by Cristina Kirchner, Lavagna expressed his vocation to collaborate with the efforts to reach a great agreement between the different political sectors. 

"Each sector must exercise the place assigned to it by the citizens: the ruling party in the government with well-defined investiture and the opposition with constructive proposals and pointing out the errors that it deems appropriate to highlight, never leading to distort what the people decided," he added.
