Two convoys of aid arrived in Tartous yesterday, one of them provided by the people of the occupied Syrian Golan and the other by the people of Damascus to support those affected by the people of the province due to the fires that broke out in it recently and include food, clothing and sterilization materials.

Attorney Rasha al-Hallah, who supervises the aid campaign provided by our people in the occupied Syrian Golan in Damascus, explained in a statement to SANA's correspondent in Quneitra that the aid is an expression of the solidarity of our people in the occupied Golan with their families in the homeland, especially in the provinces affected by the fires, and an affirmation of the social values ​​that bind the people Al-Suri in all circumstances, noting that the convoy was delivered in cooperation with the volunteer team of the “Saed” Association in Damascus.

For his part, Issam Habbal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sa`ed Association in Damascus, indicated that a volunteer team from several associations accompanied the convoy from Damascus to fully prepare the food baskets and present them to those affected.

Dr. Ihsan Shuqair, who accompanied the aid convoy provided by our people in the occupied Golan, explained that he supervised the distribution of aid to the people in the villages and towns that were affected by the fires in the countryside of Tartous, with a volunteer team, which was delivered directly to the people in their homes.

For his part, Director of Social Affairs and Labor in Damascus, Mahmoud Al-Damrani, said in a press statement that the two convoys contain food, clothing and sterilization materials, indicating that the caravan presented by our people in the occupied Syrian Golan is an expression of their belonging to their motherland, Syria, and their standing with their countrymen. The second convoy was provided by a number of NGOs and children Damascus aims to support those affected by the people of Tartous due to the recent fires.
