Summary :
Marie was 16 when she met Thomas, a boy in her class who looked like the ideal son-in-law.
But very quickly, come the psychological mistreatment then the beatings.
The violence, daily, will last eight years.
Nearly twenty years later, Marie decides to tell the hell she lived in a book, “He kills me this love” (Massot Edition).
This mother of two talks about the difficulty of freeing herself from the grip of her former companion, and how she has slowly rebuilt herself.
With her testimony, Marie wants to show that domestic violence, which affects nearly 220,000 women each year, affects all social backgrounds and all ages.
For Code Source, she gives herself over to Clawdia Prolongeau's microphone.
