US President Donald Trump pounced on US doctors at an election campaign event - and attacked Germany and Europe for the fight against corona.

in

on Saturday during his
election campaign
*
marathon
when he attacks the American doctors, of all people, who are
sometimes working well beyond their
limits
during the
corona pandemic
*
.
But that's not all.
He connects them with a kind of conspiracy theory - and with Germany.
Just recently,
Trump used
Austria's capital Vienna in one of his notorious comparisons between the USA and abroad - to express his opinion on trees.
So now it's Germany.
Trump on Germany in the 2020 US election campaign - he assumes that doctors in the US are greedy for money
"In the media it always says: Germany, Germany, Germany," said Trump, referring to the fight against pandemics, which are only supposedly exemplary in Germany.
But the
US president
claims to have recognized a trick behind it: “You count differently.
If you have a heart disease or cancer in Germany and will soon die, and then you get
Covid
, that happens.
We then
blame
Covid
, ”he said about the counting method in the USA.
Not without looking for a scapegoat and then adding an allegation: "Our doctors get more money when someone
dies of
Covid
," he said.
This statement is not only unfounded, it is simply wrong with regard to Germany.
In Germany, too, all people who were infected with the corona virus are included in the official death statistics, such as the
Bayerischer Rundfunk
showed.
US election campaign 2020: Germany, Europe ... "They are not doing well"
3 days from now, we are going to win Pennsylvania!
With your support, we will continue to bring back your jobs, and cut your taxes & regulations.
Biden would wipe out your factories, ship your jobs to China, raise your taxes, & eliminate private healthcare! Pic.twitter.com/IjvKseSiTI

And once again
Trump
went
into Europe.
During his campaign appearance in
Pennsylvania
* he
boasted that the "draconian
lockdowns
" in Europe had not shown any success.
“Everyone thought Germany is doing well, well, well, well,” he said.
“But they're not doing well.
You can see what's going on over there, France again, Spain, Italy.
We are
fine.
We just don't get any recognition for it. ”(Kat / dpa) *
