A professed English speaker was stabbed to death by a man in the heart of San Miguel de Tucumán, and after the femicide, the aggressor
committed suicide by being surrounded
by a group of neighbors who prevented him from escaping the place, police sources reported.
Although the identities were not officially disclosed, the organization Ni Una Menos Tucumán identified the woman as Paola Estefanía Tacacho, a native of Salta;
and the author of the crime as Mauricio Parada Parejas, a former student of the victim.
According to testimonies from friends of the victim, Paola and her former student did not have any kind of relationship.
They said the man had become obsessed with her after taking classes for no more than two months.
Paola Tacacho had denounced the man for threats, as did his family in Salta: from his environment and the organization Ni Una Menos denounce that he did not receive protection.
"I lived harassed by him," they assured.
The threat became more complicated, in addition, because the aggressor lived near the house of his victim, who would even have made several complaints and even had a restriction of approach.

The attack, from behind
Paola's crime occurred on Friday around 9:00 p.m. in Monteagudo at 500, in the heart of the capital of Tucumán, where the victim was attacked after being taken from behind and stabbed with a knife in different parts of the body, while screaming for help.
Police sources reported that a local security camera captured the discussion that a man had with the woman, who began to walk as if to leave.
At that moment, the femicide grabbed her from the back and stabbed her several times, after which he released her and tried to escape through Santiago Street.
However, a group of neighbors who saw what happened
surrounded him and prevented him from escaping,
so the man took the knife, stabbed it in his chest and died almost instantly.

was a teacher at Parada Parejas
, in a tertiary study center in Tucumán, where the murderer was her student and since then he
harassed and threatened to kill her.
The woman made different complaints to the Tucumán justice and even
her family did the same in Salta "but they did not receive answers, they
only had a restriction of approach that did not prevent the harasser from fulfilling his mission," the document said.
The organization called for a sit-in in front of the Government House of Tucumán for Monday 2 at 1:00 p.m. to demand justice for Paola and for all the victims of femicides.
