Turkish Republican People's Party leader Kemal Kılıçdarolu mocked the attempts of the President of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to cover up the many crises he is facing at home by directing his criticism of France.
In a statement carried by the Turkish newspaper Zaman, Kılıçdarolu indicated that Erdogan is exploiting the French case and the developments that took place in the wake of the killing of a French teacher earlier this month to cover the crises in Turkey, including the collapse of the lira.
Kılıçdarolu denounced Erdogan’s calls to boycott French goods while his wife is carrying a French-made bag. Speaking to the head of the Turkish regime, he said, “If you are serious, honest and courageous in your threats to France, why do not you think about closing Renault factories in Turkey .. You only speak without action.” .
It is noteworthy that the number of French companies in Turkey reaches 500 companies, and about one hundred thousand Turkish citizens work in them, and only six thousand people work in Renault factories, and the company manufactures about 320 thousand cars annually.
