A US judge has ordered that part of US President Donald Trump's decision to ban the Chinese company ByteDance's Tik Tok app should not be enforced across the US
According to Agence France-Presse, three Internet users who are paid for services they provide via Tik Tok have resorted to a court in Pennsylvania to demand the suspension of part of this decree that prohibits American companies from providing basic services to Tik Tok, such as hosting on the Internet.
And the judge considered that there is possibly convincing evidence that President Trump has exceeded his authority, especially that Tik Tok is a popular application, especially among young people, and allows the sharing of short videos that enjoys the same protection as the means of expression or other media such as movies, pictures or news agencies.
A US federal judge in Washington stopped at the end of September a decision by the Trump administration to ban TikTok downloads.
Trump signed a decree in mid-August that obligates the ByteDance group to sell the American activities to implement TikTok, its international social network, within ninety days, in continuation of his hostile and provocative policies towards China and its companies.
