Update from November 1st:

The corona numbers in the district continue to rise.

According to the Robert Koch Institute, the seven-day incidence for Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen is 103.2 on this Sunday (as of 8 a.m.) and thus again significantly higher than on Saturday (90.7).

According to the RKI, 904 people have been infected with Covid-19 in the district since the beginning of the pandemic.

That is 58 more than on Thursday, when the district office last presented concrete figures for the district.

When the 100 mark is exceeded at the seven-day incidence, the corona traffic light switches to dark red.

This has no consequences (for now).

From Monday, November 2nd, the uniform rules of the "Lockdown light" will apply.

Update from October 30th, 6.47pm:

The ice hockey game between the Tölzer Löwen and EV Landshut in the Tölzer Eisstadion, scheduled for Saturday, October 31, can take place - but without spectators.

With a view to the current infection situation in the district, the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district office decided to take this step and communicated this to the club on Friday, said authority spokeswoman Marlis Peischer.

Update from October 30th, 5:23 p.m .:

In the Lenggries specialist clinic for geriatric rehabilitation, a total of eight people tested positive for the coronavirus.

The Tölzer health department assumes that seven patients were infected with one person from the workforce.

According to the district office spokeswoman Marlis Peischer, the named person tested positive for the corona virus on October 23.

A series of tests was then carried out on the employees and the patients.

"It turned out that seven patients are also infected," said Peischer.

According to Peischer, the affected patients are "free of symptoms caused by corona".

According to Peischer, those who tested positive as well as six contact persons were isolated or are in quarantine and therefore housed separately from the other patients.

A second test will be carried out in the coming week.

The last external visit to the specialist clinic was on October 16, so there are no other contact persons here.

Update from October 29, 4:31 p.m .:

The district office has published its weekly corona update: As of Thursday, 114 people are actively infected with the corona virus and are in isolation.

77 of the infected show signs of illness, 37 are asymptomatic.

Nine of the infected are hospitalized, no person is ventilated.

The people infected with the corona virus live in the entire district.

A total of 19 municipalities are affected: Bad Heilbrunn: 3, Bad Tölz: 19, Benediktbeuern: 2, Bichl: 1, Dietramszell: 2, Egling: 2, Eurasburg: 7, Gaißach: 5, Geretsried: 10, Greiling: 1, Icking: 7, Jachenau: 1, Königsdorf: 2, Lenggries: 9, Münsing: 4, Reichersbeuern: 1, Sachsenkam: 5, Walchensee: 1, Wolfratshausen: 32.

A total of 846 people have been infected with the corona virus so far (as of Thursday, 2 p.m.), 722 are now considered to have recovered.

The number of those who died with or from the coronavirus is still ten.

So far, around 3,150 people have been tested for the corona virus in the test center on Flinthöhe.

Update from October 29th:

As the district office reports, a group from the St. Andreas kindergarten in Wolfratshausen is now in quarantine.

A teacher from the elementary school in Waldram is also in quarantine.

According to the district office, she had contact with a person infected with Corona outside of school.

As contact person I, she must now also be in isolation.

According to the LGL, the seven-day incidence increased a lot from Wednesday to Thursday.

It was 65.7 on Wednesday, and today it is 75.8.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 835 people in the district have been infected with Covid-19 (as of Thursday, 8 a.m.).

That is 23 cases more than on Wednesday.

Update from October 28th:

The seven-day incidence in Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen rose only slightly on Wednesday: from 64.9 on Tuesday to 65.7 (as of October 28, 8 a.m.).

This emerges from the data published by the State Office for Health and Food Safety.

Accordingly, since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 812 people in the district have been proven to have been infected with the corona virus.

That number rose by 16 from Tuesday to Wednesday.

Update from October 27, 1:04 p.m .:

If the Corona traffic light shows red, as in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district, there is a mask requirement in class in all types of schools, a curfew in restaurants from 10 p.m. and a ban on alcohol sales at petrol stations from 10 p.m.

Only five people or a maximum of two households are allowed to meet.

Incidentally, this is a requirement that quite confuses some people.

"In fact, many people ask us whether they are still allowed to do this or that," says Marlis Peischer, spokeswoman for the district office.

To put it in concrete terms: five people, who may come from five households, may meet privately, in public spaces or in the pub.

There is no numerical limit when relatives from only two households meet - as long as there are only two households.

How long do these stricter rules actually apply?

Will they be lifted once the seven-day incidence falls below 50?

“No,” says Peischer.

“Let's take our current situation concretely: The incidence value of 50 must have fallen below for seven days.

Only then will the district be downgraded on the side of the Ministry of Health.

Only from this point in time does the new traffic light apply. "

Update from October 27th:

792 people have been infected with the corona virus in the district since the beginning of the pandemic.

The Robert Koch Institute reports this number (as of Tuesday, midnight).

That is 17 more cases than on Monday.

The seven-day incidence rose to 61.8 on Tuesday (Monday: 51.6).

This means that within seven days there were 61.8 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants.

The Corona traffic light continues to show red for Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen. The numbers reported by the LGL are even slightly higher (as of Tuesday, 8 a.m.).

Up to this point, 796 cases had been registered.

The 7-day incidence there is just under 65.

In Geretsried, 23 more students have been in quarantine since Monday.

It is a class of the Waldorf School.

This means that a total of 185 students from seven different schools are currently in quarantine in the district.

Update from October 26th, 3:23 p.m .:

In view of the rising corona numbers in the district, a visit ban will again apply from Wednesday, October 28, in the Tölzer Asklepios Clinic.

Exceptions are possible, for example when visiting children or caring for the dying.

In individual cases, this should be clarified with the treating doctor, according to a press release.

This ban has existed in the Wolfratshauser Stadtklinik since last Friday.

Update from October 26th:

The Robert Koch Institute reports a seven-day incidence value of 51.6 for the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district this Monday (as of Monday, midnight), although this is slightly below the value on Sunday, but that could also be due to it lie that many health authorities do not report on weekends.

There have been 775 cases in the district since the pandemic began.

That's three more than the day before.

The Corona traffic light is still red.

While a mask requirement applies in class for all types of schools, a curfew and a ban on alcohol sales at petrol stations from 10 p.m. and a maximum of five people or a maximum of two households can meet, the Tölzer District Office continues to refrain from ordering a mask requirement for specific public spaces.

In a video conference with representatives of the cities and municipalities, they came to the joint conclusion that none of the public places is so heavily frequented that a mask requirement must be ordered.

“We keep an eye on that,” says Niedermaier.

The main focus here is the Tölzer Marktstrasse and the Wolfratshauser S-Bahn station.

His appeal is to pay close attention to the minimum distance of 1.50 meters.

Update from October 25th:

According to the Robert Koch Institute, the seven-day incidence value in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district today is 52.4 (as of October 25, 12 a.m.).

The threshold value of 50 is exceeded.

The Corona traffic light jumps from yellow to red From Monday, October 26th, according to the district office, the following measures will apply:

  • - Private celebrations and contacts are limited to a maximum of 5 people or 2 households.

  • - curfew, ban on alcohol sales at petrol stations and alcohol ban in public places from 10 p.m.

  • - Mask requirement, where people come together closer or longer, including in heavily frequented public places, in public buildings, workplaces, leisure facilities, cultural sites, also on the square in universities and in schools of all grades - and thus also in elementary schools.

District Administrator Josef Niedermaier says: “Today our district also tore the incidence value of 50.

That means further restrictions, because - and I have already said this - it must be the goal of all of us to bring the value back down and to weaken the infection rate.

Yes, the pandemic has been going on for a long time and it is a difficult challenge for our society.

As a rule, we humans don't like uncertainty at all.

Nevertheless - let's master this situation together.

We are all affected and all challenged!

I don't want us in a position to even have to talk about tightening it again.

What we see now is the infection process from ten days to a week ago.

Let us now adhere to the hygiene rules and the distance to one another!

It has already helped us once, it can also help us a second time and throughout the winter. "

Update from October 24th:

The State Office for Health and Food Safety registered nine more corona cases for the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district this Saturday (as of 8 a.m.) than on Friday.

The seven-day incidence increases from 45.3 on Friday to 48.47 on Saturday.

According to LGL, 761 people in the district have been infected with Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.

Update from October 23:

According to the State Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL), the seven-day incidence for the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district was 45.3 on Friday (as of 8 a.m.).

That is a slight increase compared to Thursday, when the value was given as 44.6.

But it also means that the Corona traffic light for Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen has not yet been set to red.

This only happens if there were more than 50 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week.

Update from October 22nd, 5 p.m .:

The district office delivers its weekly corona update: The number of people who have been infected with the corona virus in the district continues to rise.

According to the district office, 69 people from the district were infected with the virus and are therefore in quarantine on Thursday at 12 noon.

Three people are currently being treated as inpatients, but they do not need ventilation.

The 69 affected live in Bad Heilbrunn (1), Bad Tölz (5), Benediktbeuern (2), Bichl (1), Dietramszell (10), Egling (3), Eurasburg (3), Gaißach (5), Geretsried (11 ), Icking (2), Jachenau (1), Kochel am See (1), Königsdorf (1), Lenggries (2), Münsing (5), Reichersbeuern (1), Sachsenkam (1), Schlehdorf (1) and Wolfratshausen (13).

In total, the coronavirus has been detected in 751 people from the district since the beginning of the pandemic.

672 of them have since been released from quarantine and are considered to have recovered.

The number of those who died from or with the coronavirus remains at ten.

According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the seven-day incidence rose from 38.3 (on Wednesday) to 44.6.

However, this is the value for Thursday at midnight.

The RKI assumed that a total of 737 people in the district were infected - 14 fewer than reported by the district office at noon.

Hence, it is quite likely that the seven-day incidence will climb above 50 on Friday.

This would mean that the red warning level would be reached on the corona traffic light.

This would mean, among other things, that a curfew from 10 p.m. applies to the catering trade.

From this time on there is also a ban on alcohol sales at petrol stations and alcohol in public places.

Only a maximum of five people or two households are allowed to meet.

And: The mask requirement in class then also applies to primary school students.

However, some districts that are already above the critical mark have suspended this obligation.

How Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen will deal with it will be decided when the 50 mark is actually exceeded, said Sabine Schmid, spokeswoman for the district office.

Update from October 22, 9:13 a.m .:

The number of new corona infections is also increasing in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district.

According to the Robert Koch Institute, 737 people have been infected with Covid-19 in the district since the beginning of the pandemic (as of October 22, 12 a.m.).

That is 12 cases more than the day before.

The seven-day incidence increases from 38.3 to 44.6 and is thus still below the red warning level on the corona traffic light.

With a view to the neighboring districts, this is still a relatively low value.

In Weilheim-Schongau the seven-day incidence rose to 96 on Thursday, in Miesbach it is 58, in Starnberg it is 56.3.

The district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen is currently least affected, with a seven-day incidence of 21.5.

Update from October 21, 5:03 p.m .:

Today, the Tölz health department received further positive cases at schools or at the Kinderhaus Zwergenland day care center in Geretsried, which was affected yesterday.

At the Lenggrieser St. Ursula-Gymnasium in Hohenburg

the coronavirus was detected in a high school student, the health department is currently informing the parents of the Q12 students and determining other contact persons.

After the positive case in Geretsried “Zwergenland” on Tuesday, research by the health department revealed that all groups are affected.

So far, the virus has been detected in two employees.

The entire facility was closed.

The health department is currently researching how many children are now affected by the quarantine or are not affected because they did not visit the facility during the infectious period.

A class was also closed at the Gymnasium Geretsried.

After further research by the health department, it turned out that a second class is completely affected.

As a result, 46 students are now in quarantine instead of the previous 35.

Update from October 21;

3:25 p.m .:

The Bad Tölz District Office has now announced which rules will come into force on Thursday, October 22nd in Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen.

After the signal value of 35 infected people per 100,000 inhabitants has been exceeded in seven days and the corona traffic light has turned yellow, the following applies:

1. Private celebrations and contacts are limited to a maximum of ten people or two households.

2. There is a curfew, a ban on alcohol sales at petrol stations and a ban on alcohol in public places from 11 pm to 6 am.

3. Masks are compulsory where people come together closer or longer: for example in public buildings, schools, at events (also for spectators at sporting events) but also in elevators.

4. A mask is also required on the meeting and traffic areas of the workplace, especially in elevators, hallways, canteens and entrances;

The same applies to the workplace if the minimum distance of 1.5 meters cannot be reliably maintained.

With regard to the mask requirement in heavily frequented public places, the district office coordinated with the cities in communities on Monday via video, according to information from authority spokeswoman Marlis Peischer.

"In doing so, we came to the joint conclusion that none of the public spaces is so heavily frequented that a mask requirement has to be ordered," said Peischer.

The experience of the past few days shows "that with the normally prevailing frequency, the applicable distances of 1.5 meters can be kept well".

In this context, however, the appeal is made to the population to strictly adhere to the distances and to wear a mask when things get tight.

Update from October 21, 10 a.m .:

The Corona traffic light in Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen jumps to yellow.

The seven-day incidence that the Robert Koch Institute published this morning is now 38.3 for the district - and thus above the limit value for the first corona warning level (35).

According to the RKI, 13 new confirmed infections with the coronavirus have been added since Tuesday.

The number of people who have been proven to have been infected since the beginning is 725 (as of Wednesday, midnight).

Stricter rules are likely to come into force in the district on Thursday, such as an extended mask requirement and a curfew at 11 p.m.

Update from October 20, 5 p.m .:

An employee at the “Kinderhaus Zwergenland” in Geretsried also tested positive for the coronavirus.

Therefore, according to the district office, a total of 19 children from three groups must be in quarantine by October 29th.

The health department is currently researching whether there are further contacts, especially among employees, and how these should be categorized if necessary.

No visits to the Wolfratshausen District Clinic

There are additional restrictions due to the increased number of cases at the district clinic in Wolfratshausen.

As managing director Ingo Kühn reports, there will again be an absolute ban on visitors from Friday, October 23rd.

This measure serves to protect both patients and employees, said Kühn.

In exceptional cases - for example with patients who are dying - a visit is possible "after individual consultation with the attending physician".

In the Asklepios City Clinic in Bad Tölz, the rule of thumb “one visitor per patient and day” has been in effect since last Saturday.

The infected person had “close contact” with 14 young people in their free time

As far as the person infected with the coronavirus at the Geretsried grammar school is concerned, the health department has now determined that they also had "close contact" with another 14 young people in their free time.

These are now also in quarantine.

A look back at the development of the pandemic in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district in recent months is available here.
