Democratic candidate Joe Biden has a clear advantage over President Donald Trump in four swing states, according to a new New York Times poll published today (Sunday), 48 hours before US election day.

New voters who did not participate in the 2016 election, most of them Democrats, are contributing to this.

According to the poll, Biden leads Trump over Florida, Pennsylvania, Arizona and Wisconsin.

His biggest advantage is in Wisconsin - 11%, or 52% compared to 41% who support Trump.

In Florida, the biggest prize of the four, Biden's advantage is small, of 3% - 47% versus 44%.

According to the numbers, Biden is in the best position before Election Day than any other candidate since at least 2008, when, at the height of the global financial crisis, Barack Obama won 365 electors, with Biden as his deputy.

Trump seems in a harder position to get 270 even more than in 2016.

He needs a big turnaround or systematic mistakes in polls, more severe than four years ago.

If Biden manages to win in three of the four countries in the poll, he will almost certainly win.

If he wins in Florida, he will likely have to take just one big state that Trump won in 2016 to land in the White House.

In Arizona and Pennsylvania he leads by 6% over the Republican president, with none of the four states exceeding 44% support.

Biden maintained the advantage over Trump throughout the New York Times polls during the campaign, and the margin for last-minute changes is shrinking thanks to early voting rates, which soared due to the caravan epidemic.

More than 90 million people have already voted by mail or at the polls that opened before November 3rd.

Trump has not once again led a stage in any of the states that are expected to win the race, and he is lagging behind in polls in Michigan as well, one of the four states where Trump narrowly defeated Hillary Clinton.
