US President Donald Trump and his Democratic opponent Joe Biden will plow key states today (Monday), the last day of the campaign.

The Republican president is lagging behind in the national polls ahead of tomorrow's election day, but the race is tight in some key states that can still give him the 270 electors needed to win.

Trump, who hopes to avoid being the first incumbent president not to win a second term since Republican President George W. Bush in 1992, will hold rallies in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and two in Michigan.

He defeated them by a small margin in 2016, but polls suggest Biden may return them to the Democrats.

He will sign his campaign at a rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the same place where he ended his 2016 campaign.

Biden, his designated deputy Camela Harris and their spouses will spend most of the day in Pennsylvania, essential to the former vice president's ambitions.

Biden will hold a rally in front of black voters in Pittsburgh before joining the drive-in rally singer Lady Gaga.

The Democratic nominee will also visit neighboring Ohio, which until recently was considered the one in Trump's pocket.

The president won it four years ago, but polls suggest a close battle with it.

Former President Barack Obama, under whom Biden has served as vice president for eight years, will hold a rally in Atlanta, Georgia, calling for exit and voting.

He will later attend a graduation event in Miami, Florida.

Biden ends his campaign on the offensive, traveling mostly to countries where Trump won in 2016 and attacking the president's treatment of the corona plague, which is once again at the top of the agenda.

He accuses Trump of giving up the fight against the virus, which has killed more than 230,000 Americans and cost millions of jobs.

Polls show that Americans trust Biden more than Trump when it comes to dealing with the serious health crisis.

Yesterday Trump had a particularly hectic day, with rallies in five countries, and claimed the momentum was with him.

He promised economic recovery and inoculation of sources, while threatened to dismiss Dr. Anthony Fauci the claimed that the vaccine will be available to those who are at high risk in late December or early January. After Fauci joy of criticism of its handling of the epidemic.

In addition, Trump continues to challenge the purity of the election, saying a vote count that would last beyond tomorrow night would be a "terrible thing." He said the issue could reach the courts. In some states, some states, such as Pennsylvania, do not begin counting mail before election day, which delays the process.

Trump goes on to argue unequivocally that postal voting is an opening for forgery, although election experts say the phenomenon is rare in the United States.

This is not a new method, and about a quarter of voters four years ago did so through the mail.

Democrats have pushed for a broadening of the postal vote as a surefire way to exercise the right to vote during the epidemic, while Trump and Republicans are building on the November 3 polls of their supporters.

A record 92.2 million people have already voted, by mail or at the ballot box, to date - about 40% of all eligible voters in the United States.

To ensure the vote count, a postal service court yesterday ordered senior executives to follow the "special steps" and use the express mail network to count the notes.
