A look at the statistics clearly shows the Garmisch-Partenkirchen market as the current hotspot in the district.
112 of the 210 infected come from the largest community with around 27,000 inhabitants.
This puts it far ahead of the other district municipalities, with Oberammergau directly behind with 17 positive testers.
In terms of percentage, the market is at the top with a rate of 0.41, despite the many residents.
What has changed since the so-called first wave: the age distribution.
People between 35 and 59 years of age are still most affected, but now follows the range from 15 to 34. In spring this was still the 60 to 79 year olds.
