Geneva - Sana
The chief emergency expert at the World Health Organization has warned that European governments are facing a "very difficult situation" in controlling the increasing infections with the Coronavirus, as their citizens are exhausted from the renewed restrictions on daily life.
Reuters quoted Mike Ryan as saying during a press conference of the World Health Organization in Geneva today, "Governments, especially in Europe, are facing a very difficult situation .. We need to eliminate this virus and get out of it, but the options are limited."
"People are clearly frustrated and they have every right to do so while they are tired," Ryan added.
The total number of Coronavirus infections in the world reached 47065489, after 260,321 new infections were recorded today, while the total deaths reached 1208,233, after 3184 new cases were reported, according to the American World Meters website.
