What passes is another week in which they will talk about how the quarantine will continue, or what is left of it.
The reality indicates that the
movement,
hand in hand with the activities that were added, increased significantly.
And although there are still restrictions in some areas and others that are directly closed, there is still a long way to go towards
"the new normal."
The
tourism
can be "benefited" on stage will
begin next Monday.
The national Government enabled the arrival of
visitors from neighboring countries
and the City authorized the
hotels
to receive them.
Until now they could only receive passengers for work reasons and medical treatments.
For this reason, the sector, one of the hardest hit so far, hopes to reactivate little by little.
It is even possible to think that the buses that run through the City, which have
open-air spaces
on the upper deck, will work again.
And it can also happen that the circuits designed for residents are used for tourists.
Public
transport
is another item that, due to the increase in movement, adds demand.
Therefore, it emerged that
the use of
subways, trains and buses
is
under evaluation, although without a date
.
The work is joint between the Nation, the City and the Province, since it involves the three jurisdictions and is a closed area, in which specialists agree that care must be taken to avoid infections.
The gradual plan presented by the City was
fully
fulfilled
up to stage 3 and in most of the items in stage 4.
For now, officials say, activities have been added and the contagion curve has dropped.
According to the data, last week it was averaging
between 500 and 600 infections a day.
Among those that hardly started are
cinemas and theaters
.
Above all, from this last sector they have been demanding openings with a maximum capacity.
There are already some activities that are done outdoors.
But the rooms are still closed.
There were meetings with Buenos Aires officials and the light of hope was lit when it was announced that in the summer, on the
Atlantic Coast
, the functions will be enabled.
For now there are no definitions and, although the contagion curve continues to decline, everything seems to indicate that we will have to
wait at least two more weeks.
The use of public transport could undergo changes in a short time.
Something similar happens with
cinemas
.
Most are inside shopping malls, where only shops were set up, but not food courts or living rooms.
Regarding the number of people allowed in bars and restaurants, which are working
at 25% of capacity
, the initiative has only been going on for a week and is still under evaluation, so it is
early to think about expanding the capacity
(stage 5 talks about bringing it to 50%).
What items should they keep waiting?
Bowling alleys and party halls
are in stage 6. From the beginning, it is clear that they will be the last to be enabled because they are spaces that congregate a large number of people and are little or poorly ventilated.
On the same level are
indoor social gatherings
.
From the Buenos Aires Government they proclaim
that the meetings be outdoors
, since experts consider that in this area the risk of contagion decreases.
That is why they enabled
meetings in parks and squares
, and also in common open consortium places.
The same goes for clubs.
In all cases, up to ten people are allowed.
The speech of Buenos Aires officials remains cautious.
On the one hand, they highlight the need to
continue adding activities
that set the Buenos Aires economy in motion.
And on the other, they point out that the pandemic continues, and that relaxing in care can be dangerous.
The
regrowth experienced by the main European cities
is a threat that, although it still seems far away here, is still seen as something that can happen.
Especially Argentina, where saturation due to the prolonged period of restrictions is felt: next Monday, when a new period
begins
,
234 days will have passed since March 20.
