Official data showed today that the death toll from the Corona virus in Spain has reached 38,118 after the Ministry of Health reviewed its method of recording injuries and deaths, rising sharply from 36,495 cases before the review yesterday.
Reuters quoted the ministry as saying that the number of Coronavirus infections currently stands at one million 284,408 cases, according to the latest data release, which removes double entries and adds some cases that were not initially diagnosed as Covid 19.
Unlike France, Germany and Britain, who imposed a general isolation at the country level, Spain left to the regions to make decisions related to the response to the pandemic, which resulted in a mixture of different regulations.
Yesterday, the Spanish Ministry of Health announced one million and 259,366 cases.
