The Democratic candidate for the White House, Joe Biden, won in the states of Wisconsin and Michigan, two of the key territories to achieve a victory in the United States elections, and extended the advantage he maintains over the current president, Donald Trump.

The former vice president also achieved victory in Wisconsin, which distributes ten electoral votes, with a very narrow margin, 49.4 percent of the support, compared to 48.8 percent of those obtained by Trump.

Biden, who with the victory in Wisconsin increased his chances of being elected,

leads the president by about 20,000 votes,

according to the projection of the television network CNN.

Hours before his victory in those two states was confirmed, Biden delivered a triumphant speech.

"I am not declaring victory, but I believe that when all the votes are counted we will win," said the Democrat.

"No one is going to take away our democracy, not now or ever ... We, the people, will never be silenced, we will never be intimidated. We, the people, will never give up," Biden added.

After knowing the victory of Biden in Wisconsin and Michigan, Trump spread another message through his Twitter account to warn of irregularities in the vote count.

"The damage has already been done to the integrity of our system and to the presidential election itself. This is what should be discussed!", He complained after recalling that his lawyers had "significant access" to the counting process.

Our lawyers have asked for “meaningful access”, but what good does that do?

The damage has already been done to the integrity of our system, and to the Presidential Election itself.

This is what should be discussed!

Earlier, through a statement, Trump's campaign manager, Bill Stepien, reported that they will

"immediately"

request

a recount in both states

.

"There were reports of irregularities in several counties in Wisconsin that raise serious doubts about the validity of the results," he denounced.

.

"The president is within the threshold to request a recount and we are going to do it immediately," he added.

Trump won Wisconsin in the 2016 election.

In this regard, close to Biden they considered that Donald Trump's statements about stopping the vote count are "outrageous" and "unprecedented" and had advanced that the Democratic legal team "is ready to act" before the judicialization of the elections.

"They were outrageous because it is an effort to take away the democratic rights of American citizens," said the campaign manager of the Democratic candidate, Jen O'Malley Dillon.

So far, Biden has collected 264 electoral votes of the 270 he needs to proclaim himself the winner of the elections, while Trump has 214. However, there are still several significant territories in which the winning candidate is not clear.
