Singer Linda Bitar showed up to her audience in a musical evening, the essence of which was the Syrian melodies, which she collected with Maestro Adnan Fathallah, at the opera stage of Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts.

In the evening, Bitar focused on the works of great Syrian composers and added her unique character of originality and vitality to the evening program.

Linda presented a combination of others' songs and her own songs, as the opera audience listened to a mixture of Syrian, Egyptian and Lebanese singing, as well as the creativity of contemporary Syrian poets and composers who presented her with their promising productions.

The evening was distinguished by Bitar's presentation of her new song “Akhfi Al-Hawa” from the poetry of Sultan Al-Asheqin “Ibn Al-Farid” and composed by Fathallah, which came as an announcement of a new project to revive the Syrian Sufi heritage in a contemporary style.

In pursuit of greater public interaction, Dar Al-Assad broadcast the evening's paragraphs on its social media pages with the aim of devoting this technology due to the current health conditions, investing the role of new media platforms to know direct reactions to the evenings from the audience.

It is noteworthy that Bitar was born in Homs, a graduate of the Higher Institute of Music, 2007, specializing in oriental singing. She participated in Syrian, Arab and international festivals. She is a member of several local bands and a professor of oriental singing class at the Higher Institute of Music.
