Coming into force on Monday, the wearing of the compulsory mask from the age of 6, in primary school, exasperates some parents of students who believe that it can harm the health of their children.
A collective called "
Let our children breathe
" has been created.
Facebook groups opposed to wearing a mask are multiplying, as well as rather anxiety-provoking videos and several petitions.
One of them, entitled "
No to the mask from 6 years
", gathers 18,800 signatures.
To be heard, these parents had even called for a dead day on Friday, which they intend to renew next week.
They took their children out of school to "
protect their health
".

This is the case of Lucie Durin in Villeneuve-Loubet (Alpes-Maritimes), who preferred to keep her 7-year-old daughter:
“She is reprimanded when she lowers it on her nose.
This infuriates me.
They are asked to wear the mask non-stop, even in sports and at recess, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. They have to run sweating from inside.
