The most anticipated case of the day was not finally addressed until the end of the hearing.
It is at 8 pm, that Kévin C. advanced to the bar of the 14th chamber of the court of Bobigny to indicate… that he had nothing to add.
The CSI 93 police officer had waited all day, supported by half a dozen police officers from his unit and the departmental manager of his union, the SGP Police Unit, Erwan Guermeur.
Kevin C. is the first CSI 93 police officer to stand trial.
But it is the methods of this company that are under fire from critics.
The CSI 93 (security and intervention company) is covered by seventeen procedures.
This 31-year-old policeman is accused of violence committed against a drug dealer during an arrest in August 2019 in the Cordon city of Saint-Ouen.
A blow had been struck to the head of the young man of 20 years while he was on the ground.
The official also indicated on the arrest report that he was wearing his police armband while he was in his pocket.
Which is enough to sue him for forgery in public writing.

"Pile on the genitals"
For these last facts, the lawyer of the civil party raised at the hearing the incompetence of the criminal court and requested the referral to an assize court of the police officer.
“Forgery in public writing is aggravated because it is committed by a person holding public authority, it is a crime and not an offense.
An instruction is necessary ”, developed the collaborator of Me Yassine Bouzrou.
It also deplores that only one police officer is tried in this case while “four officials were present” during this arrest which had been duly filmed by residents.
This day, the absent at the hearing, the point of deal of the Cordon city and it awaits the client when the police officers of the CSI fall on him.
The intervention degenerates and the dealer lodges a complaint for acts of torture and barbarism.
He accuses the police of having "pile on the genitals" and "spread excrement on his T-shirt".
For the prosecution, no new trial "before 2024"
But all this was not discussed this Thursday evening.
Indeed, the magistrates decided to grant the request of Me Bouzrou by declaring the court incompetent.
However, the representative of the prosecution opposed it.
He deplores "a mixture of genres" between the salvo of proceedings launched against the CSI and the case of this police officer.
But it is appropriate that this case was well within the jurisdiction of an assize court: "But I made the choice to retain it in correctional because the forgery in public writing only targets this wearing of the armband".
He warns that there will be a slower investigation time: "We judge with difficulty the cases selected, so it will not be scheduled before 2024", he warned.

Me Frédéric Gabet, council of the police officer, regrets that this affair becomes "a platform".
He adds: “We are not here to put the ITUC on trial.
Little is said about my client […] It is only a question of a simple mention affixed to a PV: the armband was in his pocket because he had not had time to take it out!
".
Reference to an assize court is not, however, certain.
"I agree to a referral to an investigating judge, not an assize court, he said, because we will be able to demonstrate that these facts are not proven."
Satisfied, Me Bouzrou, absent at the hearing, resisted in a thunderous way to react from a distance: "We welcome this decision in accordance with the law of the court which refused to respond favorably to the miserable maneuvers of the Bobigny public prosecutor's office who wished to protect the criminal actions of CSI officials 93 ”.
