A traffic accident occurred in Sheung Shui.
At nearly 6 am today (7th), when an elderly woman was riding a bicycle on Chi Cheong Road off Sheung Shui Center, she was reportedly knocked down by a taxi. The woman fell to the ground with severe head injuries and was unconscious. She was rushed to the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sha Tin, where she was still in a coma.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
