From the clubhouse to the parish hall: the defibrillator is now centrally located in Buch am Buchrain.
Buch am Buchrain
- The lights in the Bucher VR Bank branch have been out forever since the beginning of October.
It was of great importance to the locals not only because of its financial operations.
A defibrillator had also been stationed in the publicly accessible branch since 2009, which can save lives in emergencies and cardiac arrhythmias.
When the VR-Bank moved out, a new location had to be found for the Bucher Defi.
It is now at the entrance to the parish hall.
The search for a new place for the emergency medical device has been discussed several times in the past few months in the municipal council meetings.
The last status before the summer break was originally that the defibrillator should be installed at the SV clubhouse.
Surprisingly, however, the device has been in a completely different location since the end of September, which is even more central than the sports and leisure area.
The defi has now been placed in the covered area at the rear entrance of the community center at Hauptstrasse 15.
When our newspaper asked, Mayor Ferdinand Geisberger explains that the location has been changed again at short notice.
Because of Corona and the very limited game operation on the sports grounds, the community hall in the center of the village was considered to be more suitable.
According to Geisberger, there are also plans for the future to accommodate the defibrillator at the new fire station on St.-Florian-Ring.
