Diego Maradona "will be discharged between tomorrow and the day after, because he is very well and eager to leave" from the Olivos Clinic, his personal doctor,

Leopoldo Luque

, announced on Monday night

.

The Gymnastics DT has been hospitalized since last Tuesday, when he was operated on for a subdural hematoma and from Friday he was treated for a "withdrawal condition."

"Diego is very well and eager to leave. That is why tomorrow we will evaluate

his discharge,

possibly on the same day or if not on Wednesday, something that we will resolve with the other doctors at the clinic who treat him," Luque said in just one minute of talk with journalists posted at the door of that health center.

"Afterwards, the place where he will continue his recovery will be the one agreed with his family, with whom there is excellent communication from the first moment," said Maradona's personal physician.

Maradona was living in recent times in a large house in the private neighborhood Campos de Roca, in the southern Buenos Aires party of Coronel Brandsen, at the request of the Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata club, to facilitate his attendance at the daily training sessions of the campus in the nearby town of Abasto.

Earlier, Luque had already been optimistic about Maradona's evolution and had said that he saw the

Lobo

game with enthusiasm

, beyond his anger at the goal on the hour that led to the 2-2 of Vélez.

"Diego is better, much better, every day better. The recovery is incredible. He is very lucid, he is very well, he is very well, he is very well seriously," Dr. Luque had repeated after seeing Maradona.

How will Diego's evolution, of whom the same doctor had spoken of a "withdrawal" picture last week, continue when it was decided to continue the hospitalization?

The future will tell.

But now the decision seems to point to a quick exit from the health center, given the desire of the Ten to leave these days behind.
