The number of Corona injuries detected yesterday in South Korea rose to more than 100 cases for the fourth consecutive day, which is the highest number of its kind in nearly 3 weeks due to the outbreak of sporadic mass infections.
According to Yonhap News, South Korea detected 146 new cases of COVID-19, including 113 local infections, bringing the total number of cases to 27,799, according to the Korean Agency for Disease Control and Prevention.
The number of injuries announced today is the highest of its kind since the country reported 155 injuries on October 23, a significant increase compared to the 100 injuries announced yesterday and 126 injuries the day before.
South Korea, which has been implementing a three-level social distancing system since the start of the pandemic, adopted the first level last Saturday, which is the lowest level in the new five-level system.
The health authorities warn that the strict measures may expand to include all countries if the current daily level of infections continues for a period of two or three weeks.
