The national government decided not to give a fourth installment of the Emergency Family Income (IFE) -a bimonthly bonus of 10,000 pesos for the most deprived sectors- and to discontinue the ATP program, of emergency assistance to work and production, which contributed to the payment of the wages of companies in trouble due to quarantine.

Within this framework, the national administration registers the definition of the new retirement formula - which it will send to Congress to try to approve it, something that today appears difficult - and more measures that show an adjustment of the economy, within the framework of

a program designed by Minister Martín Guzmán, while carrying out a negotiation with the International Monetary Fund

Far from accepting that it is carrying out an adjustment, the government of Alberto Fernández assures that it will spend towards the end of the year on social

benefits

, which

could include an end-of-year bonus for the beneficiaries of the AUH, the universal allowance for children.

According to sources from the Casa Rosada, "the national government has a model of economic rationality but with everyone inside, that is why it deploys several social policies to accompany people who were unable to do so after the crisis caused by the pandemic in their reintegration into work."

And in this sense, it is registered that the Ministry of Social Development -guided by Daniel Arroyo- confirms that

the Alimentar Card will be paid double in December

, which reaches 1.5 million families and would imply dumping 15 billion pesos to the economy.

In addition, as Clarín explained, 1.7 million Christmas boxes will be distributed, containing nine products for 7 million people.

According to the National Cabinet Chief - led by Santiago Cafiero - they assert that funds for community dining rooms and school dining rooms were expanded.

And that transfers of funds to municipalities and governorates for the purchase of food will be strengthened in December.

These points

will be key, in the month of December, for a socially hot place such as the Buenos Aires suburbs

.

The Empower Youth Inclusion plan was also launched, which provides for an economic stimulus and training and debate meetings.

And they

are

already

thinking about how to generate the conversion of social plans into employment to generate 300 thousand jobs

in the labor-intensive sectors: construction, textiles, food, the care economy and recycling, areas very hit by the pandemic.

The Executive Branch defined the creation of the trust that will allow the

urbanization of 400 neighborhoods per year

and that will articulate the work of the Ministries of Social Development and Public Works and the State Property Administration Agency.

And 800 gardens will be built and expanded with rooms for ages 3 to 5.

These measures take place in the midst of the adjustment of items that will be registered in other ministries to reduce spending and in the reduction of the deficit, which the ministry of Martín Guzmán, the current head of the Ministry of Economy of the Nation, and responsible for the tough negotiation with the IMF, whose delegates are currently in the country.
