The GLA is unrecognizable.
By changing generation, this model leaves the ambiguity, swapping its silhouette of raised Class A crossover type for the codes of a real SUV.
The mutation is successful: the GLA passes for a reducing GLC while retaining its own personality.
While it exceeds the model it replaces by 104 mm in height and 30 mm in width, the new GLA renders 14 mm in length without losing roominess thanks to the wheelbase increased by 30 mm.
Particularly neat, the rear passengers can benefit from the functionality of a minivan with a rear seat that slides 140 mm and adjustable tilt backrests (+ € 450).

In the normal position, the boot volume gains 14 liters to reach 435 liters.
This will be life changing: Sitting almost 100mm higher than the old GLA, the driver has better all-round visibility.
A guarantee of serenity.
While a number of comfort and amenity equipment are optional, the GLA has access to the brand's latest refinements: digital instrumentation, panoramic and tactile screen, MBUX technology integrating voice control.
Softness and comfort on the front line

Apart from the AMG and plug-in hybrid versions, the GLA offers two petrol versions and as many diesels.
With the 4.33-liter, 163-hp 4-cylinder petrol engine coming from the cooperation with Renault and equipped with the deactivation of two cylinders at stabilized speed, there is no question of making sparks.
Linear, this engine sometimes struggles to revive due to its low displacement but it meets most expectations perfectly. Its composure is combined with the smoothness of the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and the comfort of the suspension.
