Five men are due to appear this Wednesday before the criminal court for aggravated violence after the lynching of a young boy in

A wild team against the backdrop of a gang war between Saint-Cyr-L'Ecole and Guyancourt.

Five young people in their twenties are due to appear this Wednesday afternoon before the Versailles Criminal Court for acts of violence committed on the night of September 4 to 5 in Guyancourt.

During this expedition, a 15-year-old boy named Sami was targeted for no apparent reason.

Seriously injured, the young man, covered in blood, had been left unconscious and covered in blood on the pavement.

It's around 11:45 p.m. that night, when Sami and two of his friends who had just come out of the gym see two vans arriving.

The doors open and a dozen young people armed with tear gas canisters and baseball bats come out.

All of them have their faces concealed by hoods and mufflers.

The three teenagers take their legs around their necks.

But Sami, who is heavier than these friends, gets caught.

They smash a baseball bat on the young boy's head

"They attacked him with such violence that one of them broke a baseball bat on his head," said a source close to the case.

His friends, who were further away, heard the sound of wood breaking on his skull ”.

Sami sinks into unconsciousness.

And the gang leaves him for dead, lying on the sidewalk.

The young boy is then rescued by a woman who leads him to the police station.

He tells his story there before being transported to hospital.

"He suffered from a head trauma, a six-centimeter wound to the head and the doctors will find several days later a pellet from a compressed air gun which had frozen in the cheek and which was discovered because the wound did not heal, ”reveals the same source.

Unambiguous CCTV images

In charge of the investigation, the police of the urban security of Élancourt, have a good lead from the start thanks to the video surveillance images of the two cities.

We can see in particular the path taken by the vans.

The footage also shows that before the assault, the group appeared to be preparing a bad move.

After the fact, we finally see the individuals return to their starting point and hide a tear gas canister.

At the scene of the attack, the police found half of a broken and bloody bat as well as a traffic sign stolen from Saint-Cyr to be used as a weapon.

The police take genetic fingerprints, cross their information, telephony elements, exploit the videos, and identify certain faces as well as the vehicles used.

Ten people from the same neighborhood arrested

Monday morning, ten suspects are arrested in Saint-Cyr-L'Ecole, Guyancourt and Trappes.

All are from the same district of Saint-Cyr-L'Ecole.

“One of them tried to run away, naked, from one balcony to another, risking his life,” relates another source.

He was arrested at the neighbors'.

These ten people were taken into custody in Trappes.

During their hearings, they all denied outright except one of them who admitted that he was driving one of the vans, but who also explains that he did not know the intentions of his friends and that he would have seen nothing of the assault.

A randomly chosen target?

“As none of them explained, we do not know the reasons that led to this outbreak of violence, explains a source close to the case.

What is certain is that the victims are unknown to the police services and were probably chosen at random from the street ”.
