The director general of the World Health Organization (WHO), the Ethiopian Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, originally from Tigray, denied Thursday the accusations of the Ethiopian army which accuses him of militating in favor of the rebels in his region, whose forces clash with federal troops.

Some reports suggest that I am taking sides in this situation.
This is not true and I want to say that I am only on one side, that of peace,
”Tedros said in a statement he posted on his Twitter account.
