(CNN) -
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has certified President-elect Joe Biden's narrow victory in the state, according to a press release.
This is a major blow to President Donald Trump's risky efforts to overturn the election results in key states on the battlefield.
Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, Republican, has until 5 p.m. ET Saturday to sign the paperwork that officially awards Biden to all 16 Georgia voters, in accordance with state law.
The results were certified after a state audit confirmed Biden's victory. Now that the results are certified, Trump has the right to request a statewide machine count due to the narrow margin. Your campaign deadline to request that recount is Tuesday afternoon.
